Civil Service Tenancy Termination Law
Gesetz über das Kündigungsrecht der durch das Gesetz zur Wiederherstellung des Berufsbeamtentums betroffenen Personen
Law on the Right of Termination of Persons Affected by the Law for the Restoration of the Professional Civil Service
A companion to the Civil Service Law of the same day. Officials who lost all or part of their pay under that law, through dismissal or forced retirement, could give notice on a flat or house rented for themselves or their family at the next permissible date, whatever their lease said. The landlord could object to the local court, which would declare the notice void if continuing the tenancy could reasonably be expected of the tenant. The same rules were applied on 22 April 1933 to patent agents struck off the register and to their dismissed employees.

About this text
The full text is given. Transcribed from the RGBl. scans (issue 36, pp. 187–188); compared word by word with documentArchiv.de, which prints ‘ganz über teilweise’ in § 1 where the gazette has ‘ganz oder teilweise’; the gazette’s wording is kept.
The English translation was made for this site and is not an official translation. ‘Kündigungsrecht’ here means the tenant’s right to give notice on a lease; ‘Bezüge’ covers salary, pension and other official emoluments.
